Dining Experience

I think it's important to memorialize a bad date for future generations to understand how to improperly woo a woman.  To begin, the suitor simply asked the in-demand, standoffish and intelligent woman to go to a mediocre Chinese chain restaurant.  Who is the guy, doesn't he realize that it is 2007 and chain restaurants went out of vogue in 1999 when he was still trying to figure out if girls liked or disliked guys who pick their noses.  Shouldn't he know that a non-fusion food restaurant is only for the ignorant and uneducated.  Shouldn't he know that she is clever enough to understand that this completely unoriginal and poorly thought-out date was a simple ruse so he could steal glances of her nearly perfect physique (she does have a mole on one of her left calf, however, its almost always covered by make-up) and allow him a chance to be close enough to her to pretend like all the attention she is receives from her admirers is partially for him?  He does not, he is too simple.

He clearly doesn't know how to treat a woman and has a long way to learn.  Not only that, he probably thought this restaurant served authentic Chinese food just because the waiters appear to have Asian descent.  The woman responded in kind.  She was not quite aware of how to address a man in this type of environment.  Her words, stories and looks were polite and curt, but nothing more.   Oh, but her heart was beating each time she saw his square jawline chew another bite of his beef and broccoli.  How can she have such strange feelings for such a simpleton?  These feelings are so complex.

By wearing shiny lip gloss that reflected the light so brightly as to blind a man at just the right angle, the woman sent an unknowing mating signal to the simple man.  She underestimated his simplicity.  "She must be into me, why else would she wear lip gloss?"  For those males who are naive and unaware, this unfortunately is false logic, please suppress this type of thought pattern.

Niceties were exchanged, but the lip gloss and the beaming beauty left hope in our hero's heart.  As he pondered the evening, he thought "that was not a great date and P.F. Chang's might not be the best food, but it is food and my research indicates most people need food, so I'm sure she loved it, I should ask her out again."  Well played hero.
